Office doors opening and closing with “ding, dong, ding, dong….” noise. Anyways,my name is Lavender Ross Stirling, youngest daughter of Cameron Stirling.I have to someday inherit my dad’s company. I know what you are thinking. I’m the youngest daughter not the oldest, well on this day 2 months ago, my older sister Lauren Stirling disappeared. No one knows how she disappeared, this is a secret, so shhhhhh… don’t tell anyone. And yeah now I am here trying to get her life covered up. According to the company I look exactly like my older sister, however the only difference is that I have blue ocean eyes and my sister has green emerald like eyes like my father.
It was an ordinary day in the office when I got a text from Lauren saying “ Happy Birthday sis,Love you xxx”. I hadn’t heard from her for two months . Now she thinks it’s okay to come back into my life on my 18th birthday.
I decided to go look for her.
I set off for Edinburgh the next day. I remembered I had attached a tracking device to Lauren’s violin, that she would always play to me.
I tracked the violin but there was no signal, so I walked until I was hungry and entered this cafe. A boy came towards me and said that I looked familiar to a person who entered the cafe before, it clicked it must have been Lauren.
I said to the boy I was looking for my sister. What the boy said next really shocked me, he said that whoever enters the cafe has to write their number down.
I asked him if I could check the numbers on the list, but the number didn’t match Lauren’s number, I turned round to leave and the boy’s nose brushed past mine, I blushed with this feeling, I apologised ,we locked eyes for a moment and he said “ Hi my name is Andrew Roberts”.
I didn’t have a place to stay, after all it was night so he offered me to stay with him. I said yes as I had no other option.
I woke up the next day excited. Andrew said good morning and whilst we were eating breakfast he said, “ You know I could come along to find your sister just for company”
I agreed and we set out towards the city later in the morning.
Thistles dancing gracefully in the smooth breeze some even got between my caramel brown hair, Andrew got it out of my hair.
We came across this valley in which we saw Lauren relaxing with a cup of coffee, I had a ton of questions to ask but she said to me that she needed to go away because she didn’t want to inherit the company.
If me or Lauren never wanted to inherit the company who would?
That when I held Andrew’s hand and said,” Can I ask you a favour?”….
