Hey

24th February 2022

Kitesurfers on the water,
High winds blow rainbow
Sails at rapid speed,
Painting the sky Cliodhna,
Daughter of the sea.

This New Year’s Eve, haud Hogmanay;
Sparkling air by the seashore, sand like
Silver dust tinsel; sea holly waves the
Most brilliant of blues,
Care-free amble by shoreline with you.

A braw day; clear starlight wings,
Beautiful wide smiles ring connection,
Party eyes twinkle like
Magic knots, four in hand linking arms for
Auld lang bond band.

Eternal beauty of sunset over
Swirling sea, aye yer guid,
Happy as a garnet glow on the ocean floor;
In it thegither, hold tight treasured time,
Friendship’s way, for evermore.
