I Heard Some Writing

23rd September 2022

Heard some writing, spoken, which conveyed such emotions from the words of the authors. This had recurred similarly the previous day as one man spoke so movingly about the anniversary of his wife’s death. You could feel and hear his love for her. Almost too overwhelming, this poetry he had written for her. The same feeling today when we heard of the sudden loss of legs from an explosion. The need to start again – then amazingly walking on a tightrope. The tightrope of life it could be said.
