On This Day

23rd September 2022

I visited the first yurt of my life, hear some great reading by some even better authors, found out that cats are one of the few pets allowed into festivals, a smuggled little kitten with bright yellow eyes, I understand why they use them in the road now. I wonder what a catseye production plant looks like… that became dark. I feel bad at the image that just appeared in my head. On this day I have decided not to let my mind wander, and direct it like you would a child on a school trip, keep a wary eye on its direction. Who remembers one direction? Good right? On this day I remembered one direction. Thank you Edinburgh Book Festival for a fun car journey home.
